The Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) in collaboration with International Growth Centre (IGC), Mahbub ul Haq Research Centre at LUMS (MHRC) , Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP) and Saida Waheed Gender Initiative at LUMS (SWGI) hosted an online panel discussion to discuss income inequality under Covid-19 within Pakistan and globally. This webinar discusses what is an appropriate lens to use when discussing income inequality and what impacts the pandemic had on inequality within Pakistan and globally. What role governments have played in responding to the pandemic and what more can be done. Finally, the discussion tries to identify economic and developmental opportunities that have emerged as a consequence of the pandemic.
