Amen Jaffer discussed his research that looks at the ways in which women in a particular urban neighbourhood of Lahore make claims to the city by engaging with the politics of infrastructure. He will demonstrate the importance of social and cultural capital for these women to successfully claim a right to their city and intervene in its politics.
